Bluetent Gives Back | Part 2

By December 20, 2016 December 22nd, 2016 Strategy

Andy Gaylord, our Digital Account Manager, who recently moved from Marin County, California, to Aspen, Colorado, gave back to his community by helping protect and document wildlife in the open spaces north of San Francisco. Andy spent the afternoon working for the Marin County Wildlife Picture Index Project, a part of an international wildlife conservation effort.

Understanding wild animals is difficult. Both population and behavioral data are essential to conservation. The Wildlife Index Project uses stationary, motion sensor cameras to capture photos of animals in the wild. Andy helped document over 15,000 photos for the project. He was especially stoked to spot his good friend the bobcat.
