About this position:

Bluetent seeks an experienced Revenue Manager to support our clients to maximize their revenue generated through Bluetent channel management software products. This is a client facing position that will involve business analytics, strategy and training on software platforms. The bulk of channel management revenues are derived from commissions and significant opportunity exists to grow commission basis through the optimization of distributed property data. Strategies will encompass content, pricing, restrictions and brand considerations.


In this role, you will:

  • Own a book of business comprised of channel management customers and proactively provide consulting, best practices and recommendations to those customers.

  • Provide data driven recommendations to property managers with the goal of increasing revenue and room nights booked through the platform.

  • Provide thought-leadership and produce content to establish Bluetent as the authority in vacation rental channel management

  • Provide quantitative reporting of customer performance and improvement over time.

  • Provide feedback to the applicable product owner to increase customer performance through engineering/innovation.

  • Gather, analyze and publish data internally and externally for intelligence, marketing and operational purposes.

  • Educate customers on the true costs of acquisition for all channels, including direct/owned.

  • Create professional reporting templates.

The skills/qualifications we are looking for are:

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable revenue management experience.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization, including advanced Excel skills.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.

  • Experience in the Vacation Rental industry required.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.

  • Ability to work well as a team, to shine as an individual, and to maintain a sense of humor.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
