success tips:
Check out a few of Bluetent’s key tips for success.
log in to your Rezfusion Boost™ account weekly
- Make sure listings are live, active and don’t require further attention
- Add in additional description fields for Airbnb or Room configurations on the individual property level for both Airbnb and BDC to make your listings more robust!
- Take a look at incoming reservations.
- Make pricing updates on listings that haven’t been receiving bookings.
update your cancellation policy
- Airbnb is recommending that you use a more flexible cancellation policy at this time. Bonus, they will be rewarding listings with those policies with higher search results. Try to stay away from Super Strict 30 and 60 day policies if your business allows.
- Don’t forget Booking.com! We encourage you to be flexible with those cancellation policies as well, and Boost has all of the options available to reset policies for Booking.com listings.
- This is an easy change in Boost, but we’re here to help. If you are having trouble please reach out to success@bluetent.com or your Client Success Manager.
update cleaning policy
- Read about the new Enhanced Cleaning Initiative for Airbnb hosts.
- Learn how to show guests what you’re doing to protect them in regards to coronavirus and cleaning on Booking.com.
- Check out the new cleaning guidelines introduced by Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals and Vacation Rental Management Association.
update your local events
- Your guests may be booking with you because of your proximity to an event — keep them posted on rules, regulations, and the status of your community events.
allow for longer stays
- Highlight your “socially distant” listings. New travelers will be looking for properties that allow for longer stays, possibly because they want to vacation with their family and work remotely.
showcase self check-in capabilities for your properties
- With Boost™, you can easily make global changes to all of your property listings or add updates to a select subset of listing.
- Add self check-in to the house rules section of appropriate listings.
refresh your property listings
- Update your property descriptions by using appealing keywords, relevant search terms, enticing property titles, and attractive photos.
