Why Social Media?

By May 18, 2016 October 3rd, 2016 Social, Strategy

Social media, unlike any other form of marketing, gives brands the ability to drive customers and prospects into their marketing funnel in a way that feels authentic and builds real emotional connections with their brand. No other form of marketing can accomplish this – not billboards, TV ads, radio ads, print ads, banner ads, email newsletters, or search engine listings. While many small business owners know this, they are skeptical of the value of social media as part of their already limited marketing budget.

We know that social media is a powerful marketing tool that can be used to drive bookings and engage with leads at every stage of the sales cycle. Our successes with Bluetent clients have proven this and turned skeptical clients into believers! We’ve assembled a few case studies to share with you below to show you just how impactful social media marketing can be:

The Home Ranch

A recent Facebook ad for our client, The Home Ranch, drove 4 bookings at a value of $13,217 for an ad spend of just $18! We targeted this ad to a highly-targeted group of about 300 people who had clicked on their email marketing campaigns promoting the retreat. The wildly successful ad demonstrated, yet again, the value of targeting and segmentation.

Tahoe Getaways

Our ongoing management of Tahoe Getaways’ social media presence has resulted in a 626% growth of their following on Facebook and $24,416 in revenue directly from Facebook. Tahoe Getaways achieved this through an ongoing likes campaign targeting people who visited their website as well as seasonal ad campaigns targeting various demographics including their email list, past guests, facebook fans, and people living in their target markets.

Kemo Sabe

And lastly, we experimented with Instagram ads for our client Kemo Sabe. For a spend of just $27, their Instagram ads increased their engagements per media 94% and generated 100 new sessions on their website.
